North Shore - Davis Family Adventure

The Baby Bjorn worked great - E would fall asleep 2 minutes into the hikes!

Bella prefers "princess" to domestic pet

Delivery Boys - picking up pizza...

...and beer + rum

The highlights of the trip for Brian - bonfire on the beach...

...and golfing Superior National

Keeping Bella Warm

My mom got us all Minnesota sweatshirts for the trip so a picture was in order!

North Shore - So Pretty

Ethan's New Party Trick

He can hold his own bottle! We know he has no concept of what he is doing and won't make it a habit but we were still impressed! My mom thought it was especially funny in that Katie and I never held our own bottles - apparently we enjoyed having that done for us longer than normal and than skipped right to sippy cups.

North Shore - Lounging at the Condo

We had a sweet 3 bedroom condo at the East Bay Suites that worked out perfectly! Plenty of room for everyone and a cozy place to hang out.

Brian & Bella enjoying the view over a glass of wine

Play time with Grandma

Ethan and Grandpa rockin their hoodies

Lounging in his Ralph Lauren Valour PJs - can't take the city out of the boy ;)

Nap time with Aunt Katie

Ethan's "Up North" outfit-the thermal PJs made a great base layer for hiking!

Uncle Trent appreciated E's gangsta track suit

2 Month Check Up

Ethan got a great report at his check up this morning! He is right on track development wise and the doctor said he's doing beautifully. Stats:

Weight: 11 lbs 6.5 oz (45 percentile)
Length: 22.75 inches (55 percentile)
Head: 15.75 inches (50 percentile)

He also got 6 immunizations - three shots and one oral. He took them like a champ so in the end it was probably harder on me than him, but the look on his face just broke my heart. He went from smiling at me to a screaming cry that we've never heard before and his face was bright red. He settled down in less than a minute and has been my sleepy little cuddle bug this afternoon. He's pretty proud of his battle wounds - check out his buggs bunny and donald duck band aids!

Congrats Daddy!

Brian won a new account at work yesterday - we're so proud of him! We went out for dinner and drinks at Palomino to celebrate. We were excited to take Ethan to one of our favorite restaurants - I'm sure he enjoyed it in his sleep.

Recovering from a fabulous vacation at the north shore. We sure packed a lot into the weekend and Ethan did beautifully. Will get pics up in the next couple days. A huge thank you to my parents for the trip - lots of great memories were made :)

Tummy Time Fun

Tummy Time is Ethan's least favorite time of the day but yesterday he actually seemed to enjoy it so I had to capture this rare moment. His little neck is getting so strong! He can hold his head up for quite some time before it flops back down.

Ethan wanted to send a thank you shout out to his big cousin Quinn and the Saul + Opdyke fam in NYC for his outfits from tea. Don't mess with this little elephant!
