Yesterday was picture day at school so in addition to a bruised forehead Ethan ended up coming down with his first ear infection + pinkeye yet again. His outfit sure looked cute, but the runny, goopy, red eyes probably didn't do him any favors. Will probably not be purchasing any of these but that gives me an excuse to set up a 9 month or 12 month photo shoot :)
We got the call to pick him up around 2 and luckily Brian was able to get him into the doctor otherwise we would have had no idea about the ear infection. E must have a pretty high pain tolerance because he was his happy go lucky self. The doctor confirmed that his tear ducts are partially blocked which makes him more susceptible to pinkeye. We have to massage the corner of his eyes three times a day to try and open them up and he'll need to have a procedure done to fix at 12 months if they don't open up on their own.
