After being on the market for almost a year, we finally got an offer on our condo yesterday! It was significantly under our list price so we are in the process of negotiating - we placed a counter offer yesterday, he countered that this morning, and we're going back with another counter this afternoon. We are thrilled at the potential of having our place sold, but trying not to get too excited as we have lots of hurdles still to clear - agreeing on a price, passing inspection, and the 10 day financing review period during which the buyer can still back out. As we bought our beautiful little home in the sky in July of 2005 at the market's peak before the bubble burst, we're going to have to bring a ridiculously large check to closing which will take some scrambling and cause no shortage of stress/heartache. The close date requested is March 25th so if we do land on a price we need to get a plan together for where we go next stat!
While little man doesn't seem to mind sleeping in the walk-in closet he is looking forward to having a real bedroom one day ;)
