Unfortunately Brian's mom is back in the hospital potentially fighting a severe infection in her ankle. She shattered it a couple years ago and battled a nasty infection last year that led to surgery to fuse it back together. Please keep her in your prayers - they are doing tests to determine if her foot will need to be amputated.

My sister landed a great new job at LaCrosse Global, which is a hedgefund subsidiary of Cargill. The best part is they'll contribute a decent amount towards getting her MBA.

Brian's sister is a pre-school teacher in Newton, Iowa and is waiting to see how a funding decision shakes out to know if she'll have a job next year. So frustrating to have everything up in the air but she is an amazing teacher and everything will work out in the end.

My best friend is due in a month - hoping for smooth sailing for mama and baby the rest of the way. She is such a trooper - dealing with moving into a new house 2 weeks before baby is due. Can't wait to fly out to DC this Spring to meet Miss Ava Caroline and spend time with Amy.
